    THIS SEASON: A talented distance swimmer, 2010 sophomore Colin Heinrich continues to improve and should be a solid dual-meet contributor with hopes to be post-season factor as well.

    2009: Heinrich competed in three events at the 2009 Pac-10 Championships, taking 13th in the 1650y free (15:45.40), 14th in the 400y IM (3:58.70) and 22nd in the 500y free (4:32.08). He was USC's second fastest swimmer in the 1000y free on the season.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Heinrich, who prepped at Trinity Episcopal in Richmond, Va., was a two-time prep All-American who earned Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro first team honors as a 2008 senior ... A two-time team MVP, he won Virginia State Independent School titles in the 200y and 500y free as a junior and a senior and was also Virginia All-State first team ... He is the state record holder in the 800y free and was a 2007 USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
