March 2, 2016
USC senior diver Collin Pollard, coming off his first career Pac-12 title, has been named Pac-12 Men’s Diver of the Month for February.
Pollard (San Jose, Calif.) completed his conference career with his best-ever Pac-12 Championships performance. He won his first career Pac-12 title by capturing the platform title with 427.70. He also set a career-best with a second-place finish on 1-meter (402.15) and finished fifth on 3-meter (357.40) to secure Pac-12 Diver of the Meet honors.
He completed his Pac-12 career having reached the finals in all 12 of his attempts. Pollard also won the 1-meter springboard in both of USC’s wins over Cal and Stanford as the Trojans swept their Bay Area rivals for the first time since 1997. Pollard earned his second monthly of the season and of his career. USC now has five all-time monthly honors.
