USC Sending Lucky Seven Divers To NCAA Zone E Championships

    A group of seven USC men’s and women’s divers, highlighted by two-time Pac-12 men’s 3-meter champion Dashiell Enos, returning NCAA participant Maddie Witt and five freshmen, will look to qualify for the NCAA Championships, Monday through Wednesday (March 6-8), at the NCAA Zone E Championships at Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Ariz.

    The schedule features women’s 3-meter at 11 a.m. Monday with men’s 1-meter at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday’s schedule sees women’s 1-meter at 11 a.m. with men’s 3-meter at 5:35 p.m. On Wednesday, women’s platform starts at 11 a.m. with men’s platform at 3:50 p.m.

    Enos, a junior, is a two-time NCAA participant while Witt, a sophomore, competed at NCAAs last year.

    Enos successfully defended his 2016 Pac-12 title on 3-meter with a win in 2017 and also became a three-time Pac-12 finalist for the first time this year, taking fourth in platform and fifth on 1-meter. Freshmen Henry Fusaro (3-meter) and Nick Mamola (platform) were also Pac-12 finalists and will be joined by fellow freshman Caleb Dixon.

    Witt (3-meter, platform), who competed at NCAAs last year, and freshman Naomi Gowlett (1-meter, 3-meter) were both two-time Pac-12 finalists this year while freshman Carly Souza was a finalist on platform.
