Hongping Li Named Pac-12 Men's Diving Coach Of The Year|

USC Head Diving Coach Hongping Li, who directed Trojan men’s divers to a pair of Pac-12 titles, seven Pac-12 finalist spots and an All-American showing at the NCAAs, was named the 2016 Pac-12 Men’s Diving Coach of the Year on Tuesday (April 12).
It is Li’s second Pac-12 Men’s Diving Coach of the Year honor (the first was 2009) to go with 11 Pac-12 Women’s Coach of the Year nods.
Senior Collin Pollard won his first career Pac-12 title this year on platform while sophomore Dashiell Enos won his first as well, claiming the 3-meter title. Pollard was a three-time Pac-12 finalist while Enos and senior Deon Reid were each two-time finalists.
All three divers qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second year in a row. Pollard turned in a career effort at the NCAAs on 1-meter, earning his first career All-American honor with a seventh-place finish with 392.75 points. Reid became a first-time NCAA point scorer, finishing 10th on 1-meter (367.95).
