For the second time in these early stages of the 2015 tennis season, USC has served up a sweep of the Pac-12 Player of the Week awards. This week's victorious Trojans are Madison Westby and Eric Johnson, who each were key in powering the USC women and men to respective wins. It's the first career award for both freshman Westby on the women's side and for senior Johnson on the men's side.

USC freshman Madison Westby had the heroic clincher for the USC women in a 4-3 upset of No. 11 Vanderbilt. The freshman pulled out a three-set comeback win over #68 Marie Casares to pull off the win there. She also had a doubles win in that one, helping USC to claim the first point of the match with an 8-6 win to secure that point. The very next day, Westby won in doubles again and then added the first singles win of an eventual 7-0 win over No. 25 Texas, beating Lana Groenvynck 6-0, 6-2. The freshman is now on a five-match singles win streak, holding a 13-4 overall single record.

USC senior Eric Johnson, meanwhile, was instrumental in driving the USC men to a fourth straight trip to the final of the ITA National Team Indoor Championship. He'd pin up straight-set singles wins in the Round of 16, quarterfinal and semifinal to move USC into the Monday title match. In doubles, he also was victorious alongside teammate Max de Vroome in the first two matches, while having his match suspended in the semifinal. He beat a ranked opponent in the quarterfinal round, topping #68 Ralf Steinbach of Ohio State to help USC win that match - a rematch of the 2014 ITA Indoors title match. In the final, Johnson was the only Trojan to win out in doubles and singles as USC fell 4-2 to No. 2 Oklahoma in the title match.

USC tennis recorded a sweep of the Pac-12 weekly awards just two weeks ago, when Roberto Quiroz and Zoë Scandalis were honored with the awards on Feb. 2.
