USC improved to 15-9 overall and 14-9 in the MPSF, while the Tigers dropped to 2-20 overall and 1-18 in the MPSF.

It was the last-ever meeting between USC and Pacific, as the Tigers are dropping the men's volleyball program after this season.

Pacific scored back-to-back points to open a 19-17 lead in the first set and steadily pulled away while hitting .450. The Trojans rebounded in the second set, using a 3-0 run to build an 11-8 lead and the Tigers couldn't recover as USC hit .357. An early 6-0 run in the third set gave USC an 8-3 lead that Pacific couldn't overcome. USC scored consecutive points to forge a 10-8 lead in the final set and Pacific never could catch up as the Trojans hit .481.

USC now returns home to host Concordia, the NAIA's No. 1-ranked team, in a non-conference match on April 3 in the Galen Center. It will be Troy's final regular-season home match of 2014.
