USC Men's Volleyball Drops Pair Of Matches At UCLA SAC Tourney

    The USC men's volleyball team was swept in a pair of matches on Saturday (Nov. 12) in the second day of the pre-season UCLA SAC Tournament in Westwood.

    The Trojans fell to Cal State Northridge, 25-18, 25-22, 25-13, in the morning and then to host UCLA, 25-14, 25-19, 25-18, in the afternoon.

    In other matches on Saturday, UCLA beat UC Santa Barbara, 3-1, and UCSB defeated CSUN, 3-0.

    On Friday (Nov. 11) in the tourney's opening day, Troy beat UC Santa Barbara, 26-24, 18-25, 25-19, 25-17.

    Troy next begins its 2017 regular season with a non-conference match at Concordia on Jan. 3 and then plays in the Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge, meeting host Ohio State on Jan. 6 and then Penn State on Jan. 7 before opening MPSF play at home against Long Beach State on Jan. 11.
