Bill Ferguson Named Head Coach For U.S. Junior Team|

USC men's volleyball head coach Bill Ferguson will serve as head coach for the U.S. Men's Junior Team that will compete at the 2014 NORCECA Championships July 27-Aug. 4 in El Salvador.
The U.S. will use its showing at the NORCECA tourney in an attempt to qualify for the 2015 FIVB Under-21 World Championship.
The U.S. finished 11th at the 2013 FIVB Under-21 World Championship after winning the 2012 NORCECA Championship.
Ferguson, in his eighth year as USC's head coach, has guided the Trojans to 3 trips to the NCAA Championships (2 runner-up finishes), 2 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation regular season crowns and an MPSF tourney title. His 2014 USC squad is currently ranked No. 5 nationally.
Previously, he was the head coach of the 2006 and 2012 USA Volleyball Men's Junior National A2 teams and also served as an assistant with the USA Youth National Team in 2000 and 2001.
During his head coaching tenure at USC, he also coached the Southern California Volleyball Club 17 boys team to a gold medal at the 2011 Junior Olympics, the 18 boys team to a silver medal at the 2012 Junior Olympics and the 15 boys team to a gold medal at the 2013 Junior Olympics.
Before becoming USC's head coach, he coached club teams to 19 medals (including 12 golds) at national championships and the clubs he directed won 31 medals.
