Benesh, a 4-year starter and USC’s 2017 captain, was an All-MPSF honorable mention selection in 2014 and 2015. He currently is fifth nationally in hitting percentage (.430) and 10th in blocks (1.09). This season, he has 191 kills, 109 blocks, 43 digs and 24 aces. In his career, he is hitting .415 and has 650 kills, 345 blocks, 175 digs and 43 aces.

Yoder and Benesh have helped the 2017 Trojans double their win total from the previous year (Troy is 14-13 overall) and earn a berth in the MPSF Tournament. No. 10-ranked USC visits top-ranked Long Beach State this Saturday (April 15) at 7 p.m. PT for an MPSF tourney quarterfinal match.
