The No. 8-ranked USC men's volleyball team (18-8 overall, 15-7 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) hosts No. 6 BYU (17-9, 14-8) in an MPSF Tournament quarterfinal match this Saturday (April 25) at 7 p.m. in the Galen Center. If the fourth-seeded Trojans defeat the fifth-seeded Cougars, USC would advance to the April 30 MPSF semifinals to play the winner of Saturday's UC Irvine-UCLA match (the semis and the May 1 final will be played at the home of the tourney's top remaining seed). BYU knocked USC out of last year's MPSF tourney. Ninth-year USC head coach Bill Ferguson is going after career victory No. 150.
