Andy Benesh, Connor Inlow Named To MPSF All-Academic Team

    Andy Benesh and Connor Inlow were named to the 2017 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team.

    Benesh is a 3-time MPSF All-Academic honoree, after being named in 2015 and 2016.

    MPSF All-Academic team members must have a 3.00 or higher cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically with at least a full academic year in residence at the institution and have competed in at least 50% of the team’s matches.

    Benesh graduated from USC earlier this month with a 3.40 cumulative GPA as a communication major. Inlow, who just completed his redshirt sophomore season, is a communication major with a 3.50 GPA.

    Benesh, a 4-year starting middle blocker and USC’s 2017 captain, he had 199 kills, 110 blocks, 49 digs and 24 aces this season to rank sixth nationally in hitting percentage (.429) and 12th in blocks (1.06). He was a 2017 AVCA All-American honorable mention and All-MPSF second team pick. In his career, he hit .415 and had 658 kills, 346 blocks, 181 digs and 43 aces.

    Inlow started most of 2017 at middle blocker, hitting .409 with 93 kills, 27 blocks and 40 digs.
