Mihajlo Milicevic Wins Back-to-Back NCAA Elite 90 Awards|
Dec. 2, 2016
In advance of the USC men’s water polo team’s 12th straight trip to the NCAA Tournament semifinals — looking for a 10th national championship — USC junior Mihajlo Milicevic has started off on a streak of his own. The business major from Serbia has collected his second straight NCAA Elite 90 award, given to the participant with the highest cumulative GPA at each NCAA Tournament competition.
Milicevic grips a 3.714 GPA as a junior business major to go along with 15 goals scored this season. He and the Trojans will kick off their 2016 NCAA Tournament efforts tomorrow (Dec. 3) with a semifinal bout against Harvard at 3 p.m. at Spieker Aquatics Complex in Berkeley. A win there would punch USC’s ticket to the NCAA title match for the 12th straight year, putting the Trojans in position to collect a 10th national championship for the USC men’s program.
