Coach Enfield is fresh off a run to the NCAA Sweet 16 with No. 15 seed Florida Gulf Coast University and brings a face-paced and high-flying style of basketball to the Galen Center. Leading the way for the USC men's team will be returning guards senior J.T. Terrell and junior Byron Wesley, along with 7-2 senior center Omar Oraby. USC has also added senior transfer and proven floor general in point guard Pe'Shon Howard from Maryland, as well as 7-0 senior center D.J. Haley from VCU. The Trojans also boast a top-notch freshman class which includes California High School Player of the Year Roschon Prince, 6-10 skilled forward Nikola Jovanovic from Serbia, athletic guard Julian Jacobs and scoring guard Kahlil Dukes, who tallied over 2,000 points in his high school career.
Coach Cooper returns to her roots where she led the USC women's team to two NCAA titles in the mid-80s, before embarking on a Hall of Fame basketball career which included an Olympic gold medal and four WNBA titles, and as a head coach resurrected three collegiate programs. The key returner for the Women of Troy is senior forward Cassie Harberts, who led USC last season with an average of 18.0 points and 8.2 rebounds per game en route to earning All-Pac-12 selection. She only figures to improve as the leader of the young squad after earning a gold medal as part of Team USA at the World University Games in Russia. All-Pac-12 honorees Ariya Crook and Brianna Barrett also return to help drive the Trojan backcourt. USC has added two freshmen -- Drew Edelman and Courtney Jaco -- along with two transfers -- Kaneisha Horn and Alexis Lloyd -- to the roster for 2013-14.
