    The No. 1 USC women's golf team completed the regular season with a 4-1 win over No. 6 host Georgia in the third-place match of the Liz Murphey Classic Sunday (April 3) at the Georgia G.C. in Athens, Ga.

    USC, the defending champion of the event who fell to UCLA on a tiebreaker on Saturday, bounced back with a solid win over the Bulldogs.

    Senior Kyung Kim posted her third win in a row with a 3&2 win over Georgia's Rinko Mitsunaga while junior Gabriella Then cruised to a convincing 7&5 win over Isabella Skinner.

    Freshman Robynn Ree also finished off a 3-0 weekend of match play action with a 1up victory over Georgia's Jillian Hollis while junior Tiffany Chan downed Bulldog Bailey Tardy by the same score. Sophomore Amy Lee fell to Georgia's Harang Lee, 1down.

    The Trojans are off for two weeks leading up to the 2016 Pac-12 Championships, hosted by California, April 18-20, at Ruby Hills in Pleasanton, Calif.
