No. 2 USC Falls To No. 1 Alabama, Downs No. 19 Oklahoma State|

Senior Gabriella Then won twice today while senior Victoria Morgan won once and tied another as No. 2 USC dropped a match to No. 1 Alabama before shutting out No. 19 Oklahoma State at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Saturday (April 8), at the UGA Course in Athens, Ga.
The Trojans, trying to win their third Liz Murphey in the last four years, fell to the Crimson Tide, 3.5-1.5, to fall into the fifth-place bracket and then took out the Cowboys, 5-0.
In the win over Oklahoma State, Then, Morgan and freshman Muni He all won 4&3. Morgan was 4-under through 15 when her match was called. Freshman Allisen Corpuz won 4&2 while senior Tiffany Chan won 1up.
Then won USC’s lone match against Alabama, 5&4, over Lauren Stephenson, while Morgan was square in her match when play was called. Chan fell 3&2, He lost 4&3 while Corpuz dropped her match 5&4.
USC will play the Auburn-Daytona State winner in the fifth-place match on Sunday. Chan was a two-time All-American at Daytona State before transferring to USC last year.
