No. 2 USC Drops Match To Auburn, 3-2, Finishes 6th At Liz Murphey Classic|

Seniors Gabriella Then and Tiffany Chan won matches Sunday (April 9), but the No. 2 USC women’s golf team fell, 3-2, to Auburn in the fifth place match of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the UGA Course in Athens, Ga.
The Trojans dropped to 6-3 in match play matches this year and now turn their attention to the postseason, starting with the Pac-12 Championships on April 24.
Then completed a perfect match play weekend with a 5&4 win over Auburn’s Elena Hualde while Chan won her match 1up.
Senior Victoria Morgan tried to keep USC’s hopes alive, but lost the 18th hole and fell 2up to Kayley Marschke, who birdied her final for holes. Freshman Allisen Corpuz lost 2up while freshman Muni He lost 3up.
