Feb. 10, 2014
Sophomore Victoria Morgan, among four Trojans playing individually today at the Matador Golf Invitational, fired a pair of even rounds to earn a share of the lead after 36 holes Monday (Feb. 10) in Northridge.
Morgan, who did not see action as a freshman last year, carded a pair of 72s thanks to a pair of birdies in her first round and one in the second. She is tied with two others.
Sophomore Kim Santiago is fifth at 5-over 149 (78-71), senior Rachel Morris is tied for sixth at 6-over 150 (75-75) and sophomore Ellie Chai is tied for 40th at 21-over 165 (81-84). Santiago, who had an eagle on 8 in the second round, and Chai, like Morgan, were seeing their first action of the season.
Play ends Tuesday with 18 holes.
