Robynn Ree, who led USC in stroke average as a sophomore, was named a 2017 Golfweek All-American second teamer while senior Victoria Morgan and freshman Muni He earned All-American honorable mention honors.
Ree was an WGCA All-American second teamer last year and earned WGCA honorable mention honors this year, as did Morgan, the former walk-on turned full-time starter who finished her Trojan career with a splash. He began her college career early, enrolling at USC for the 2017 spring semester.
Ree led USC with a 73.00 stroke average with three top finishes, six in the top 17 and eight in the top 32 to go with two rounds in the 60s as well as a 3-1-1 record in match play. Ree also repeated as a 2017 All-Pac-12 first teamer.
Morgan, in her first year as a starter, finished second on the squad in stroke average with a 73.80 in a team-high 25 rounds, going 5-5-2 in match play action. She finished with a team-best four top 10 finishes (all in the top 8) and had six top 15 finishes and eight in the top 20. She also earned All-Pac-12 first team notice, boasting a 3.78 GPA while graduating with a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law and working toward a second degree in East Asian Studies.
He joined the Trojans in January and was a full-time starter, posting two top 10s, three top 20s and six finishes in the top 30. She also was 7-4 in match play competition.
USC Head Coach Andrea Gaston, who just completed her 21st year at the helm of the Trojans, has now produced 22 different golfers who have earned a combined 48 All-American honors. Overall, USC has a combined 30 golfers who have been tabbed as All-American first, second or honorable mention.
