April 27, 2017
LOS ANGELES--The No. 13 USC women’s rowing team will travel to Ballona Creek in Marina del Rey, Calif. to challenge crosstown rival UCLA in their annual dual meet on Sunday (April 30). The Women of Troy have never lost to the Bruins in their 15 all-time meetings of the two crews. USC’s varsity eight has defeated UCLA’s top boat in each of those head-to-head races.
The dual will begin at 2 p.m. PT as the varsity four hits the water first with the second varsity eight scheduled to race at 2:15 p.m. The day will conclude with the varsity eight as the grand finale at 2:30 p.m.
Last year, the Trojans swept the Bruins in every race to win the dual with a 7-0 score to claim their 15th consecutive win over UCLA.
