    RIO DE JANEIRO -- Representing USA, Lauren Fendrick and partner Brooke Sweat dropped a two-set match, 21-16, 21-13, to Brazil's duo of Larissa Franca Maestrini and Talita Rocha on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the Beach Volleyball Arena. Fendrick-Sweat fell to 0-2 with one match left in pool play.

    Up next, Fendrick and Sweat will face Russia's Ekaterina Birlova and Evgenia Ukolova on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 4:30 p.m. in Brazil (11:30 a.m. PT). Fans can watch Fendrick-Sweat streamed live on NBCSports.com and via the NBC app.
