Trojan sophomores Sam Adams and Natalie Kalibat each made the platform finals of the 2014 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships while junior Jordan Gear did the same on the men's side during the last day of action on Saturday (March 15) at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Adams finished eighth in the finals with 467.55 after a 238.60 in prelims. She finished just ahead of the ninth-place Kalibat, who totaled 461.45 after 245.50 in prelims.

Junior Haley Ishimatsu, who qualified for the NCAA Championships next week in Minnesota thanks to wins on 1- and 3-meter springboard the past two days, competed in prelims only for precautionary reasons.
Gear finished sixth in the platform final with 661.84, 328.29 from prelims. His third dive received his highest score, 63.45 on an inward 2 1/2 somersault tuck.
