USC Sweeps First Day Of Trojan Diving Invitational

    USC sophomore Maddie Witt and freshman Naomi Gowlett went 1-2 on women’s 3-meter while freshman Henry Fusaro led a 1-2-3 Trojan sweep on men’s 1-meter on the first day of the Trojan Diving Invitational, Friday, (Nov. 11), at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

    Fusaro won the men’s 1-meter with 635.05 points, including a 335.40 in the final. Junior Dashiell Enos was second (594.85) while freshman Caleb Dixon was third (566.55).

    Witt edged Gowlett on women’s 3-meter, 609.40 to 608.55 while San Diego State’s Alexandra Caplan was third (593.75). Gowlett’s 327.90 was tops in the final session, but just a hair off Witt’s total.

    Action continues Saturday with women's 1-meter and men's platform prelims at 11 a.m. and finals at 1:45. Sunday's men's 3-meter and women's platform begins at 11 a.m., finals at 1:30 p.m.
