Lauder Pac-12 All-Academic First Team, Leads 11 Trojans Who Earn Honors

    Sophomore Lindsay Lauder earned Pac-12 All-Academic first team honors while senior divers Sam Adams and Katherine Van Winkle earned second team honors, joining eight others tabbed as honorable mention selections, the Pac-12 announced Tuesday (April 19).

    It is the first All-Academic first team selection for Lauder, who is majoring in international relations and holds an impressive 3.97 GPA. Van Winkle majoring in cinematic arts with a GPA of 3.56 earned her way onto the second team honors while Adams, majoring in communication with a GPA of 3.60 earned second team honors for the third consecutive year. Van Winkle was an honorable mention pick the previous two years.

    Eight Trojan women earned honorable mentions, including seniors Nikki Chang, Kendyl Stewart (third time), Jacqui Suitt (third time), Brianna Weinstein (third time) and Lucy Worrall, juniors Sidney Cooke (second time) and Kelsey Kafka (second time) and sophomore Hannah Weiss.

    Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible.
