    Kaitlyn Christian, Danielle Lao and Sabrina Santamaria earn repeat honors.

    THIS SEASON: Danielle Lao is in her fourth season at USC, entering the 2013 spring season ranked No. 14 in the nation in singles and No. 40 in doubles with teammate Valeria Pulido... Went 5-2 in singles and 6-3 in doubles in the fall, winning the ITA Southwest Regional Doubles Championship with Pulido.

    2011-12: Lao finished her junior season ranked No. 18 in the nation in ITA singles and No. 76 in doubles with partner Alison Ramos... Earned ITA All-America honors for singles and was selected to the All-Pac-12 Second Team... 4-0 in the NCAA Team Tournament with Ramos, was named to NCAA All-Tournament Team for the No. 3 doubles position with Ramos... Reached the NCAA Singles Round of 32, falling to top-seeded Allie Will of Florida... Went 31-8 overall in singles, going 20-3 in dual matches at the No. 2 position... In doubles, went 24-7 overall and 21-4 in dual matches... Was 23-6 with Ramos, going 20-4 in dual matches playing at No. 2 (9-3) and No. 3 (11-1)... Also was 1-0 with Sabrina Santamaria and 0-1 with Gabriella DeSimone... Entered the spring ranked No. 42 in the nation in singles... Started the fall ranked No. 16 in the nation in singles... Won the National Collegiate Tennis Classic singles championship, beating Virginia's Emily Fraser in the final... Reached the ITA Regional singles quarterfinals and ITA National Indoors Round of 16.

    2010-11: Lao finished her sophomore season ranked No. 23 in the nation in ITA singles... Named to All-Pac-10 Second Team... Reached the NCAA Singles Round of 32... Went 26-13 overall in singles, going 13-8 in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 2 position (11-8) and also at No. 1 (2-0)... In doubles, went 19-11 overall and 12-7 in dual matches... Was 19-10 with Lyndsay Kinstler, going 12-6 in dual matches playing at No. 2 (6-3) and No. 3 (6-3)... Also was 0-1 with Maria Sanchez at No. 1... Entered the spring ranked No. 10 in singles... In the fall, Lao was ranked No. 28 in the nation in singles... Won the ITA Southwest Regional Singles Championship, beating teammate Sanchez in the final... Went 10-3 in fall singles, reaching the ITA/Riviera All-American main draw and competing in the USTA/ITA National Indoors... In fall doubles, went 4-2 with Kinstler, reaching the ITA Southwest Regional quarterfinals and the ITA/Riviera All-American Round of 16.

    2009-10: Lao finished her freshman season ranked No. 43 in the nation in singles... Was named the ITA Southwest Region Rookie of the Year... Earned All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention, and was selected to the 2010 USTA Summer Collegiate Team... Reached the NCAA Singles Round of 32... Went 23-12 overall in singles, including an 11-8 mark in dual-match play at the No. 3 position... In doubles, went 18-9 overall, going 15-6 in dual matches... Was 13-4 with Alison Ramos, including a 9-2 mark at No. 2 doubles and 2-0 record at No. 3... Also went 4-4 at No. 1 with Maria Sanchez... Entered the spring ranked No. 18 in the nation in singles... During the fall, went 10-2 in singles including a 7-0 start that carried her through ITA All-American prequalifying and qualifying rounds to the main draw... Also reached the ITA Regionals quarterfinals... In fall doubles, went 1-1 with Lyndsay Kinstler at ITA Regionals.

    HIGH SCHOOL: Lao won the league title while playing for La Salle High in Pasadena, Calif... Also was a semifinalist at the 2008 USTA International Spring Championships in Carson... Won USTA National Open in May 2008... Competed with the U.S. 18-under national team... Graduated magna cum laude.

    PERSONAL: Danielle Marie Lao was born May 29, 1991 in Pasadena, Calif.... Daughter of Bessie and Danny... Has one sister, Adrienne... Lists Roger Federer as her biggest sports hero... Would like to travel to Spain and London... Hopes to one day play professional tennis... Majoring in communication.
