PULLMAN, Wash.--The No. 39 Women of Troy were victorious over the Washington State Cougars 4-1 on Friday afternoon (March 31) at Washington State's outdoor tennis courts. This win marks two in a row for the Trojans and improves their record to 6-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play.

The afternoon kicked off with doubles as USC's No. 34 Katz/Smith were quick to claim the first win of the day for Troy as they defeated WSU's Ates/Michalkova 6-1 on court two. The No. 33 Trojan tandem of Failla/Valdes secured the doubles point for USC as they swiftly beat the Cougar pair of Matejevic/Miksovska 6-2.
