    After dealing with a back injury, Eichler is healthy and set to contribute this season, possibly as a starter.

    Eichler has played in 12 matches this season after missing the first half with a lower back injury...she had 17 kills (0.85 kps) with four assists (0.20 aps), 14 blocks (0.70 bps) and 24.0 points (1.20 pps)...started both NCAA Tournament matches (Dec. 5 and 6) at the Galen Center...had four kills and six blocks in a 3-1 win on Dec. 5 against No. 15 San Diego...registered three kills and three blocks in the NCAA second-round loss to No. 6 Hawai'i...she transferred to USC prior to the start of the 2008 season from Boston College.

    In her freshman season at Boston College, she finished second on the team with 308 kills (2.68 kpg) and 97 blocks (0.84 bpg)...played in every game for the Golden Eagles...hit .248 on the season...recorded 64 digs (0.56 dpg), 22 aces (0.19 sapg) and 10 assists...named most valuable player at the Boston College/Northeastern Tournament (Aug. 30-31) and was named ACC Player of the Week...recorded seven kills against Northeastern (8/30) before posting three straight double-digit kill performances...had 15 kills while hitting .636 (15-1-22) with two solo blocks and five block assists on Aug. 30 against Holy Cross...had 13 kills for a .571 performance (13-1-21) with two aces and two digs against Sacred Heart on Aug. 31 and finished with 18 kills for a .467 hitting clip (18-4-30) with a season-high four aces, two digs and four solo blocks against New Hampshire...recorded 13 kills and six digs against Maryland on Sept. 15...registered a season-high 12 blocks (3 solo, 9 assists) with nine kills on Sept. 27 against North Carolina State...had 15 kills with six block assists on Oct. 5 at Virginia and followed it up the next night with 16 kills at Virginia Tech...tallied 12 kills and a .360 percentage (12-3-25) on Oct. 20 at Georgia Tech...recorded 15 kills with a .464 performance (15-2-28) against Duke...led a five-game win on Oct. 28 against Wake Forest with a season-high 24 kills, hitting .526 (24-4-38) with two digs and two block assists.
