    NCAA Volleyball: USC vs. Texas

    The sixth-seeded Women of Troy fell, 3-0, to third-seeded Texas in the Austin Regional Final.

    She played in 29 matches as a junior...recorded 11 assists (0.14 aps), five aces (0.06 saps) and 34 digs (0.44 dps)...posted a career-high seven digs against No. 18 Pepperdine in the NCAA Honolulu Regional final on December 10...had four digs on December 3, 2010, in an NCAA first-round match against New Mexico.

    She played in 15 matches for the Women of Troy, appearing in 21 sets...recorded two aces (0.03 saps) with one assist (0.05 aps) and 24 digs (1.14 dps)...had four digs on Dec. 3 against New Mexico in the first round of the NCAA Tournament...tied her personal best with six digs on Oct. 22 against No. 16 Oregon...recorded a career-high two service aces on Sept. 18 vs. Cal State Bakersfield and tied her personal best with six digs...had three digs in the season opener on Aug. 27 against Loyola Marymount.

    She played in 23 matches as a freshman...had one assist (0.02 aps), two service aces (0.05 saps), 54 digs (1.23 dps) and 2.0 points (0.05 pps)...had five digs on Oct. 30 at No. 4 Stanford...tied her career high with six digs on Oct. 3 against No. 11 Stanford...had a service ace and four digs on Sept. 26 at Arizona State...set a career high with six digs on Sept. 5 against Northern Arizona...made her collegiate debut on Aug. 28 at Michigan State, recording one dig.

High under coach Rob O'Rear...named South Coast League most valuable player in her senior season...earned All-South Coast League first team honors as a junior...earned All-South Coast League second team honors as a sophomore...graduated as the school's valedictorian...played one year of club volleyball with Nike Laguna Beach and five years with Laguna Beach Volleyball Club...played on the 18s team that won the bronze medal at the U.S. Junior Olympics...her 16s team won the gold medal at the Junior Olympics...her 15s squad won the bronze medal at the Junior Olympics while she was named to the all-tournament team.

    Erin Lynn Yoder was born on June 20, 1991...parents are Bob and Wendy Yoder...her father was a member of the 1977 USC men's volleyball national championship squad and was a two-time All-American...her father went on to be the head coach for the USC men's team (1982-89), leading the Trojans to five NCAA Final Four appearances and the 1988 national championship...has two brothers, Curtis and Cory...brother, Cory, played volleyball at UC Irvine and was a member of the Anteaters' 2009 national championship squad...favorite movie is Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls...favorite television shows are CSI and Seinfeld...enjoys listening to Paramore, The Format and country music...majoring in human performance.
