LOS ANGELES -- USC incoming setter Kendall Bateman recently earned Mizuno/Volleyball Magazine High School All-America honors after leading Mira Costa High to a 34-0 perfect record and its fourth-straight state championship.

Bateman, who was a high school teammate of junior setter Taylor Carico, is a two-time member of the U.S. Girls' Youth National Team. She led the squad to a 10th place finish at the 2007 FIVB Girls' World Championship in Mexico.
