USC Women's Volleyball Hosts Spring Tourney at Galen Center Pavilion

    LOS ANGELES -- The USC women's volleyball program will host four teams for a spring tournament at the Galen Center Practice Pavilion on Friday (April 14) beginning at 4:30 p.m. PT. The Women of Troy welcome Cal Baptist, Cal Poly Pomona, Long Beach State, and UC Santa Barbara for a seven-match tourney. Admission is free and parking is available in the adjacent parking structure (PS2) for the regular campus rate of $12 per car.

    Court 1 -- USC vs. UC Santa Barbara
    Court 2 -- Cal Baptist vs. Cal Poly Pomona

    5:40 p.m.
    Court 1 -- USC vs. Cal Baptist
    Court 2 -- Cal Poly Pomona vs. UC Santa Barbara

    6:50 p.m.
    Court 1 -- USC vs. Long Beach State
    Court 2 -- Cal Baptist vs. UC Santa Barbara

    8:00 p.m.
    Court 2 -- Cal Poly Pomona vs. Long Beach State

    The Trojans complete spring play with a tournament at UC Irvine on Saturday, April 22. Teams and schedule still TBA.

    The Women of Troy earned a program-record 26th consecutive berth into the NCAA tournament (34th overall appearance) and finished 2016 with an 18-14 overall record. USC was 10-10 in Pac-12 matches and finished in a tie for seventh place. The Trojans won three of their four pre-conference tournaments and became the 17th NCAA Division I program to cross the 1,000 all-time victories threshold with a win over Arizona State on Oct. 5. Haley earned his 400th win as the Trojans' head coach.
