USC Women's Volleyball Closes Spring With Three Matches at UC Irvine

    LOS ANGELES -- The USC women's volleyball program will complete spring competition with three matches at the UC Irvine Spring Tournament on Saturday (April 22). The Women of Troy will take on UC Irvine at 10 a.m. PT, Cal State Northridge at 11 a.m., and finish up with Azusa Pacific at noon. All matches will be played at the Anteater Rec Center located at 680 California Ave.


    10 a.m.
    Court 1 -- Azusa Pacific vs. CSUN
    Court 2 -- USC vs. UC Irvine

    11 a.m.
    Court 1 -- UC Irvine vs. Azusa Pacific
    Court 2 -- USC vs. CSUN

    12 p.m.
    Court 1 -- UC Irvine vs. CSUN
    Court 2 -- USC vs. Azusa Pacific

    The Women of Troy earned a program-record 26th consecutive berth into the NCAA tournament (34th overall appearance) and finished 2016 with an 18-14 overall record. USC was 10-10 in Pac-12 matches and finished in a tie for seventh place. The Trojans won three of their four pre-conference tournaments and became the 17th NCAA Division I program to cross the 1,000 all-time victories threshold with a win over Arizona State on Oct. 5. Haley earned his 400th win as the Trojans' head coach.
