    PARKING ALERT! There is a special event happening at the LA Coliseum and Exposition Park this weekend. Parking for that event will be posted at $25. However, despite the signage, fans attending the volleyball matches at Galen Center may park at Parking Structure 2 (PS2) for the regular fee of $12. Make sure to let the gate attendant know you are parking for volleyball.

    LOS ANGELES -- The seventh-ranked USC women's volleyball team (0-0) opens the 2016 campaign this weekend as host of the Baden Invitational. The Women of Troy will welcome Marquette (0-0), Santa Clara (0-0), and UC Irvine (0-0), to the Galen Center for a six-match tournament beginning at 5 p.m. PT on Friday, Aug. 26.

    In 2015, USC claimed a share of the Pac-12 title with an 18-2 mark in league matches and received the No. 1 overall seed in the 2015 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship. Head coach Mick Haley was named the Volleyball Magazine National Coach of the Year for the first time in his career and added the award to his Pac-12 and AVCA Pacific South Region Coach of the Year selections. He led the Trojans to a 33-3 overall record with a fifth appearance in the NCAA Regional Championship match in six years.

    No. 3 Trojans Clip Eagle Wings in 3-0 Sweep of Marquette
    Behind strong performances from its outside hitters, the third-ranked USC women's volleyball team defeated host Marquette in three sets, 25-16, 25-19, 25-14, in the Marquette Challenge at Al McGuire Center on Friday, Sept. 6. The Women of Troy remained undefeated (5-0) as the Golden Eagles fell to 1-2. Trojan freshman outside hitter Ebony Nwanebu hit .320 as she led all players with 10 kills (2e, 25att) in the match.

    No. 5 USC Devours Anteaters in Three
    The fifth-ranked USC women's volleyball team (9-1) marched past UC Irvine (7-4) in a three-set sweep (25-18, 25-15, 25-19) at Galen Center on Wednesday, Sept. 18. It was the home opener for the Women of Troy who moved to 95-10 all-time at their home arena.
