For the second time this season, Michelle Stein has earned honors as the MPSF Mikasa Co-Player of the Week after another seven-goal weekend by the USC junior. Stein's offensive output helped the Trojans complete an MPSF sweep on the road, beginning with an important 8-7 win over No. 3 Cal, which had displaced USC in the national rankings two weeks ago.

Stein scored three in that victory over the Bears to help the Trojans lead throughout the game. The following day, Stein scored four goals against Pacific to lead all scorers once again. Stein has now tallied nine multiple-goal outings for USC, scoring in 15 games to lead the Trojans in scoring with 34 goals. Now with a four-game win streak, USC is 12-4 overall and 5-0 in MPSF play.

USC's next action comes Friday (March 14) with a clash against undefeated UCLA in a 5 p.m. match at McDonald's Swim Stadium.
