Monica Vavic led the USC scoring rally with nine goals scored in three USC wins in Hawai'i last week, and has picked up MPSF Player of the Week honors for her efforts. It's the first selection for the junior this season and the third of her Trojan career.

Last week in Hawai'i, Vavic pinned up two goals in a neutral nonconference 15-5 win over No. 14 Indiana. The next day, USC had a doubleheader in which Vavic plugged in seven more goals. She'd have a hat trick in the books by halftime as USC built a 9-0 lead on No. 12 Long Beach State en route to a 12-3 win in that one. Soon after, the Trojans took out No. 11 host Hawai'i 14-6. Once again, Vavic had a hat trick complete by halftime, and she'd add her fourth to open the second half of play.

Vavic currently ranks No. 8 all-time in career scoring at USC, needing just five more to move up to No. 7. The three road wins improved USC's overall win streak out to 25 in a row, as the Trojans now hold a 18-0 record in 2014 action.

Vavic and the Trojans have another three games on tap this week. On Thursday (March 27), USC will host Hartwick at 5 p.m. at Uytengsu Aquatics Center. From there, the Women of Troy head north to face San Jose State at 12 p.m. on Saturday (March 29) before an NCAA Championship rematch against Stanford at 5 p.m. on Sunday (March 30) in Palo Alto.
