The USC women's cross country team will compete at the 71st Annual Aztec Invitational (5K) at the San Diego Mission Bay's Tecolote Shores North Park on Friday, Sept. 18 at 9:30 a.m. in San Diego, Calif. The course was the site of the 2008 and 2011 USA Cross Country Championships and consists of two and a half loops, almost entirely on grass in a park setting.

It will be the second cross country meet for the Trojans this season, as they opened the 2015 campaign at the UC Irvine Invitational on Sept. 5. At that meet, USC was led by senior Katerina Berdousi, who placed fifth with a time of 18:11.02 to lead the team to the best finish among Division I schools. Among the 17 schools scheduled to compete at the Aztec Invitational include San Diego, UNLV, Pepperdine and host San Diego State.

USC will be sending nine runners to the meet: Berdousi, Amber Bragdon, Rebekah Ent (making her Trojan debut), Amber Gore, Madison Ricks, Taylor Seamans, Mikaela Smith, Natasha Strickland and Jenna Tong.
