Racette And Gore To Represent USC At 2016 NCAA XC West Regional

    Nov. 10, 2016

Surging sophomores Sophia Racette and Amber Gore will represent the USC women’s cross country team at the 2016 NCAA West Regional (6K) held at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento, Calif. on Nov. 11 at 11 am. Both Racette and Gore will be running at the regional for the first time and since they are USC’s only entries, the Trojans will not figure in the team scoring. There will be 39 schools represented and 329 women’s athletes are entered.

Racette led the Trojans in every meet she competed in this season, posting a 6K personal best of 21:12.1 at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 17. When Racette ran on this course at the NCAA West Preview Meet on Oct. 1, she had a time of 21:30.5.

Gore placed second for USC in every meet this season, running a 6K personal best of 21:32.6 at the NCAA West Regional Preview on Oct. 1.
