May 2, 2008 LOGAN, Utah - Utah State University's 119th undergraduate commencement ceremony will be held Saturday, May 3 at 9:30 a.m. in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum and among those graduating will be 36 student-athletes. Utah State's student-athletes traditionally rank among the best in the Western Athletic Conference with a 77 percent graduation rate and a cumulative 3.06 grade-point average. During the 2007-08 academic year, USU has had 55 student-athletes earn academic all-WAC honors thus far and 152 were recognized at its annual Joe E. and Elma Whitesides Luncheon for earning a 3.2 or better GPA.
