LOGAN, Utah - Utah State's Jaycee Carroll will play one more game as a collegiate basketball player as he has been invited to participate in the 2008 DiGiorno NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) College All-Star game on Friday, April 4 at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas.

The event, which showcases the top college seniors and serves as a tip-off for the Final Four weekend, will start at 4 p.m. (MT) and be televised nationally on College Sports Television (CSTV). CSTV can be found on Comcast Ch. 269, on DIRECTV Ch. 610, and on the DISH Network Ch. 152. The event is free and open to the public.

Carroll will be a member of the American All-Stars, which will be coached by former South Carolina head coach Dave Odom. Other members of the American Team include Jamar Butler of Ohio State; Mike Green of Butler; Sundiata Gaines of Georgia; Robert McKiver of Houston; Alex Harris of UC Santa Barbara; Charles Rhodes of Mississippi State; Brian Randle of Illinois; James Gist of Maryland; Robbie Cowgill of Washington State; Brian Butch of Wisconsin; and David Padgett of Louisville.

The National All-Stars will be coached by Clemson's Oliver Purnell. Members of that team include Sean Singletary of Virginia; Jonathan Wallace of Georgetown; Cliff Hammonds of Clemson; DeMarcus Neslon of Duke; Ramel Bradley of Kentucky; Shan Foster of Vanderbilt; Will Daniels of Rhode Island; Josh Duncan of Xavier; Joe Jones of Texas A&M; Jason Thompson of Rider; and Aleks Maric of Nebraska.

Carroll, a 6-2 senior All-American guard from Evanston, Wyo., led Utah State to a 24-11 record and a share of its first-ever Western Athletic Conference regular season championship this year as USU posted a 12-4 league mark. Utah State also recorded its ninth-straight 23-win season and advanced to its ninth-straight postseason, appearing in the National Invitation Tournament.

As a senior, Carroll finished the season first in the nation in three-point shooting at 49.8 percent, was second in free throw shooting at 91.9 percent, and 13th in scoring with 22.4 points per game as he was named the WAC's Player of the Year.
