USU Men's Tennis Falls, 4-3, To Montana State Thursday
March 6, 2008 LOGAN, Utah - Utah State men's tennis fell, 4-3, to Montana State at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club in Logan, Thursday. USU is now 4-11 on the season, while MSU evens its record to 4-4 overall. The Bobcats took the doubles point winning at No. 1 and 3. Aggie senior Fernando Gallegos and sophomore Oscar Ericsson teamed up to defeat Fletcher Keyes and Myles Perkins, 8-4, at No. 2 doubles. USU tallied three singles wins at No. 2, 3 and 4 with Ericsson defeating Pawel Turzanski, 6-4, 6-2, in the No. 2 slot. Gallegos battled MSU's Jakub Dybala to a three-set match at No. 3, winning, 6-0, 1-6, 6-4. Senior Jonas Tyden captured the third singles win for the Aggies in the No. 4 spot, beating Keyes in a three-set match, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4.
