USU Women's Basketball Heads To Fresno State On Sunday

Utah State's women's basketball team continues its four-game road swing in Fresno, Calif., taking on Fresno State on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 3 p.m. (MT) at the Bulldogs' Save Mart Center.

Utah State is 6-15 on the season after dropping a 69-42 contest at Hawai'i on Thursday. USU, who is seventh in the Western Athletic Conference with a 2-7 league record, is led by Danyelle Snelgro's 10.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, while Taylor Richards is averaging 9.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. As a team, Utah State is second in the WAC in free throw percentage (.719), second in steals (9.67 spg), sixth in three-point field goal percentage (.314) and sixth in assists (11.48 apg).

Fresno State, who is 13-9 overall and leads the WAC with an 8-1 league record, defeated Louisiana Tech, 82-63, on Monday. The Bulldogs are led by Tierre Wilson's 16.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, while Jalessa Ross is averaging 11.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. As a team, Fresno State leads the league in field goal percentage (.417), three-point field goal percentage (.345) and assists (15.41 apg).

Sunday is just the fifth meeting between Utah State and Fresno State, as the Bulldogs lead 3-1.

Utah State wraps up its four-game road trip on Thursday, Feb. 14 at San Jose State (2-20, 1-8 WAC) at SJSU's Event Center (5,000).
