LOGAN, Utah - Utah State softball rallied for two thrilling come-from-behind wins against Western Athletic Conference foe San Jose State winning, 8-6 and 11-10, on Saturday at a chilly LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field.

USU moves to 10-21 overall and earned its first conference wins of the year, improving to 2-6 in WAC action. SJSU falls to 21-22 on the year and evens its conference record at 3-3. The Aggies also snapped a two-game losing skid to the Spartans as they are now 23-21 in the all-time series.

The Aggies were down, 6-2, in game one before they climbed their way out scoring six runs on six hits and senior 3B Amy Schaible tallied the seventh run of the day on a sacrifice fly by freshman RF Megan McDonald and freshman C Shasta Tyteca belted her first home run of the season over the center field fence for the extra security run.

Game two saw USU load the bases three times in the seventh with sophomore LF Mikey Price earning a two-out bases loaded walk as Tyteca scored the 11th run for the Aggies to nab their second win of the day.

San Jose State scored in the first inning to start off the first game and then added two more runs in the third to go up, 3-0. The Aggies scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth, as junior 2B Aubrie Stroman walked to lead off the inning, junior DP Kayla Dunn singled to right and senior 3B Amy Schaible walked to load the bases.
