LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis lost to Weber State, 5-2, Thursday at the Logan Sports Academy and Racquet Club. Utah State is 2-6 on the season while WSU improves to 5-3.

The Wildcats took the doubles point by winning all three doubles.

In singles action the Aggies won at No. 2 and 4. Freshman Hailey Swenson won at No. 2 singles, 6-4, 6-4, defeating WSU's Inalise Pienaar, while sophomore Britney Watts won at No. 4 against Weber State's Greyce Farias, 6-3, 6-1.

The Aggies beat the Wildcats, 4-3 when they went head-to-head earlier this month.

"Everyone was working hard. We are getting stronger in doubles," USU head coach Christian Wright said.

The Aggies continue action this Saturday, Feb. 23 at Utah at 5 p.m.
