Men's Release | Women's Release | Complete National Rankings NEW ORLEANS - The Adams State Grizzlies are once again the top ranked team in the men's USTFCCCA Division II Coaches Indoor Track and Field Power Rankings, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced this morning. The Grizzlies have retained the top spot for the third week in a row after opening the season as the No. 2 team in the country. Adams State is followed by Ashland University who competed at the All-Ohio Championships at the University of Findlay. The Eagles finished third overall in the standings. Moving up to third this week is Abilene Christian who had a very successful weekend in Fayetteville as nine Wildcats picked up several automatic and provisional qualifying marks for the Division II Indoor Championships. Abilene is followed by No. 4 Western State which jumped six spots from last week's rankings and No. 5 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. Central Missouri and Shippensburg University come in at Nos. 6 and 7. No. 8 Grand Valley State moved up one spot from last week, followed by No. 9 Kutztown. No. 10 Minnesota State entered the rankings for the first time this season following competitions at North Dakota State, Iowa State and St. Olaf. A team's total point score is the sum of all points earned by that team in each event. Teams are allowed to select up to two athletes per event, and an athlete can only be used in a maximum of three events (not including relays). Only one relay team per event can be selected. Schools are responsible for submitting their own results. The 2008 NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships will be held March 14-15 at Myers Field House on the campus of Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minn.
