Men's Release | Women's Release | Complete National Rankings NEW ORLEANS - Wisconsin-La Crosse moved into the number one spot this week as the men's USTFCCCA Division III Coaches Power Rankings were announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track & field team finished second out of seven teams at the Warhawk Classic this weekend at UW-Whitewater. The Eagles finished second with 132 team points while UW-Whitewater was first with 187. North Central College, last week's top team, drops one spot this week to No. 2 in the rankings. The Cardinal track and field team more than doubled the point total of its nearest competitor en route to winning the Chicagoland Championships Saturday at the University of Chicago. The Cardinals scored 215 points with Lewis University placing second with 92. Following UW-La Crosse and North Central is No. 3 St. Thomas, No. 4 UW-Whitewater and No. 5 Augustana. Monmouth (Ill.), UW-Eau Claire, Wartburg, Tufts and UW-Oshkosh make up spots six through ten with Wartburg entering the rankings for the first time this season. The 2008 NCAA Men's and Women's Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held March 14-15, 2008 at the ONU Sports Center. Ohio Northern University is the host for the championships.
