Men's Release | Women's Release | Complete National Rankings NEW ORLEANS - After entering the top ten last week, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team moved into the top spot this week in the women's USTFCCCA Division III Coaches Indoor Track and Field Power Rankings released today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. UW-La Crosse won the Warhawk Classic this past weekend held at UW-Whitewater. The Eagles finished with 175 team points while Wartburg (IA) was second with 138. Dropping one spot this week to No. 2 is Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Titans dropped one spot this week despite claiming the team title in their own Titan Invitational this weekend. The Titans amassed 312 total points and outdistanced the nearest competitor, Carroll College, by over 200 points (102). The meet was a tune-up to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference indoor championships. St. Thomas, Tufts and Illinois Wesleyan round out the top five, followed by No. 6 North Central, No. 7 Augustana (Ill.) and No. 8 Chicago. Ninth-ranked Wartburg and tenth-ranked Washington (Mo.) enters the top 25 for the first time this season. The 2008 NCAA Men's and Women's Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held March 14-15, 2008 at the ONU Sports Center. Ohio Northern University is the host for the championships.
