View Complete National Rankings | View Women's Release NEW ORLEANS - Wisconsin-La Crosse holds onto the top spot in the latest men's USTFCCCA Division III Coaches Power Rankings which was announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. La Crosse competed in the Wisconsin Badger Open over the weekend in a tune-up for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championships. Moving up to No. 2 this week in the rankings is another WIAC member; Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Titans competed at Wisconsin-Stevens Point in another pre-conference championship tune-up meet. Several Titans rested over the weekend but Oshkosh still managed a fourth place finish in the 16 team event. Oshkosh was ranked tenth in last week's rankings. The University of St. Thomas, North Central College and Wisconsin-Whitewater complete the top five teams in the rankings. Augustana (Ill.) comes in at No. 6 this week, down one spot from last week, followed by Wisconsin-Platteville at No. 7. Platteville competed at Stevens Point over the weekend and finished second in the team standings. The Pioneers entered the rankings this week for the first time this season. The WIAC Conference has five teams in the top ten this week, and six in the top 25. Monmouth (Ill.) follows UWP at No. 8 this week. No. Cortland State moves into the rankings this week for the first time in 2008. The Red Dragons won the SUNYAC Conference Indoor Championship last Saturday with a total team point score of 160. Buffalo State finished second with 121 points. Wisconsin-Stevens Point completes the top ten in this week's rankings. The 2008 NCAA Men's and Women's Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held March 14-15, 2008 at the ONU Sports Center. Ohio Northern University is the host for the championships.
