Description

Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Head Men's & Women's Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field Coach/Physical Education Instructor. Organize and administer all aspects of a successful NCAA Division III men's & women's track and field program, teach selected courses in physical education, recruit academically qualified student-athletes, scheduling, budgeting, commitment to compliance with institutional and NCAA rules, and other duties as assigned. NOTES: This is a full-time exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Master's degree in physical education or related field with three years coaching and previous teaching experience. Must have a strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of NCAA track and field; exceptional independent judgment, problem solving, planning, analytical, organizational, leadership, teambuilding, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and written & oral communication skills with sensitivity to a diverse population; ability to effectively motivate student-athletes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is desired.
