OREM, Utah - Utah Valley hosts Texas-Pan American on Saturday at 3:05pm on "Pack the House" and "Think Pink" day in The McKay Center. The game can be heard live on WolverineGreen.com.

The Wolverines (14-7) snapped a four-game losing streak on Thursday in a 78-69 win over NJIT. Julie McMurray and Robyn Fairbanks both scored 20 while Sandy Marvin added 16 and Blake Reynolds notched a career-high 10 points in the win.

Fairbanks also pulled down 10 boards for her ninth double-double of the season while also reaching at least 20 points for the ninth straight game.

The win over NJIT moved Utah Valley's home record to a perfect 10-0 inside The McKay Center with Saturday's game and a game on March 1st against CSU Bakersfiield remaining.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink to Saturday's game as part of the Women's Basketball Coaches Assocation's (WBCA) "Think Pink" initiative, helping to raise breast cancer awareness. $1 from each ticket sold will go towards breast cancer research.

Utah Valley is also attempting to break the school's attendance record as part the NCAA's "Pack the House" challenge pitting conference schools against each other. The Wolverines will compete against the rest of the nation's independent schools to see who can attract the biggest crowd at a selected game.

Texas-Pan American (10-13) has won two straight games heading into Saturday's contest. The Lady Broncs defeated Chicago State in overtime, 62-55, in Edinburg, Texas in their lost contest on February 2nd. UTPA is 0-9 on the road this season.

LeKeisha Gray, this week's independent co-player of the week, leads UTPA with averages of 15.7 points and 4.1 rebounds. Nearly 55 percent of Gray's 302 field goal attempts this season have been from beyond the three-point line.

Utah Valley leads the all-time series 4-1 after winning twice during the 2006-07 season. The Wolverines won 75-54 in Orem and 60-53 in the season finale in Edinburg. Robyn Fairbanks averaged 28.0 points and 8.0 rebounds in the two wins.

Texas-Pan American is the host of the year-end Division I Independent Championship that runs March 6-8 in Edinburg, Texas.

Following Saturday's game, Utah Valley will travel to NJIT on February 21st and Chicago State on February 23rd.
