SEDONA, Arizona - Utah Valley improved by 10 shots to finish in 13th place at the Red Rocks Invitational at the Oak Creek Country Club in Sedona, Arizona on Sunday.

Ashley MacKay shot a 79, the low round of the tournament for the Wolverines, to finish in a tie for 43rd. Echo Thatcher was the top finisher overall for UVU, finishing tied for 25th.

The Wolverines finished four shots in front of Southern Utah after starting the day three stroked behing the T-Birds.

Eastern Michigan swept both team and medalist honors, with Catherine Fortin finishing +6 overall to win by one stroke over Sophia Choi of Northern Arizona. Western Michigan finished second in the team competition, two shots back of Eastern Michigan.

Utah Valley will compete against Southern Utah in a dual on March 15-16 in St. George.
