OREM, Utah - Utah Valley head soccer coach Brent Anderson has announced the signing of six players to letters-of-intent.

Camille Broderick (Pleasant Grove, Utah/Pleasant Grove HS), Ashley Burdett (Providence, Utah/Mountain Crest HS), Brianne Larsen (Orem, Utah/Orem HS), Kelsey Kimball (Provo, Utah/Timpview HS), Jaime Lyons (Orem, Utah/Orem HS) and Kaitlyn Thomas (Orem, Utah/Orem HS) have all signed to play for the Wolverines beginning in the 2008 season.

"This is an exceptional class," Anderson said. "Each one of these players will add to our program and make us a more competitive team."

Broderick starred at Pleasant Grove High School where she played primarily in the center midfield. She was a First Team All-Region 4 performer and Honorable Mention All-State.

Burdett was named the Herald Journal Valley Player of the year her senior season. She was second on her team in goals her junior and senior seasons while averaging .47 points per match.

Larsen was the Salt Lake Tribune 4A Player of the Year while playing for the State Champion Orem High School Tigers. Laresen was the State Tournament MVP, Valley Player of the Year and Valley Defensive MVP in 2007. She was second team all state in 2006 as a defender.

Kimball was a two-year team captain at Timpview High School. She was a member of the All-Utah Valley team and second team All-State. Kimball was Honorable Mention All-State and first team All-Region her junior season.

Lyons also played on the Orem High State Championship team. The Tigers won their region each of the three years that she played at Orem. A forward, Lyons was the varsity team captain as a junior and the offensive MVP as a senior. Lyons was an Academic All-State honoree.

Thomas scored 36 goals in her career. She lettered four years at Orem High and was a member of the 2007 State Championship squad. Thomas was the Deseret News 4A MVP. She was a two-year second team All-State honoree and earned first team All-State accolades her senior year.

Broderick, Larsen, Kimball, Lyons and Thomas were all also standout club players for the Celtic Storm Club while Burdett played for the Utah Rush/Valencia Futbol club.
