Wake Forest is set to hit the road for a season series rematch with Florida State on Thursday at 9 p.m. The Valentine's Day contest, which will be broadcast by Raycom Sports, begins a stretch that sees the Deacons play four of their next six games on the road.

The Deacs took the first meeting with the Seminoles this season, 74-57, in Winston-Salem. Wake was led by James Johnson who scored a season-high 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

The Deacs won the game thanks to a big second-half surge. Trailing 31-28 at halftime, Wake Forest committed just two turnovers and made five of seven three-point attempts in the second period. At one point in the second half, the Deacs scored on 20 of 25 possessions.

Wake Forest enters this meeting at 14-8 overall and 4-5 in the ACC. The Deacons are coming off an 80-64 defeat of Virginia on Saturday at Joel Coliseum. Johnson again led the Deacs with 21 points and eight rebounds. Harvey Hale and Ishmael Smith scored 15 points apiece. Smith dished out six assists against just one turnover.

Florida State stands 14-10 overall and 3-6 in the ACC. The Seminoles have been off for a week since earning a 62-55 win at Miami on Feb. 6. Toney Douglas led the Noles against the Hurricanes, scoring 28 points on 9-of-14 shooting.

Wake Forest leads the all-time series with Florida State, 21-15. The Deacons, however, have lost each of their past three games in Tallahassee.
